h3 is a equipment restriction system used to balance out the four characters' team. Every weapon and armor has its own specific value in the 'h'system. h3 means that every player is restricted to take equipment, which total sum of 'h' is 3. It is the maximum value, the player can use less, but never more.

Other restrictions

mules (characters with low level that carry equipment for other characters) and scavengers (characters that have high level but no weapons or armour and get equipment from dead characters) banned. Ghuls can't use big guns. Every player can have no more than two characters using the same weapon.
